CHARTER SAILING YACHT “SHAMOUN”

SHAMOUN This Dutch built modern-classic sailing yacht designed by Andre Hoek has truly raised the standard in terms of quality of construction for others to follow. Beautifully proportioned with her classic mahogany and cream panelled interior enhanced by chestnut floor boards, her layout offers a separated Crew quarter from the guests living area. Her saloon, which includes a bar, is very spacious and is also equipped with a state of the Art entertainment system (video screen + projector in the ceiling). Under sails SHAMOUN is every bit as powerful as she looks and her shallow draft (2.30m/ 8’) allows her to enter atolls, little harbours and secluded Bays that other yachts of her size cannot access. Her classic shape is enhanced by her perfectly proportioned deckhouse and her deep and curling cockpit. This particular area is where most of the guests gather during the heat of the day as it is well protected by the full sailing awning. With full Main/Genoa and 10 knots of wind she will beam reach comfortably at around 8.5 knots. SHAMOUN is incredibly gentle through the sea and amazingly quiet down below.
